The most important point is that the treatment of Leprosy is completely possible and it is available at all government hospitals, and every primary health center.

Note: Leprosy is not a contagious disease it is completely curable with MDT (Multidrug therapy).

Some important points should be remembered:

During Leprosy treatment the skin color changes into black due to the adverse effect of Clofazimine. When treatment is completed the skin color comes back to normal within 2to 3 months.

If you already use Dapsone and Rifampicin then it is not necessary to take Hansapran for the treatment of Leprosy.

Leprosy can be treated only by the use Of MDT. Leprosy cannot be treated from any health supplement like – vestige etc.( Although these types of supplements can help to improve the immune level of the patient and thus they can help in the treatment but don’t depend fully on health supplements )

Leprosy patient can also take covid vaccination because a Leprosy patient also have low immunity ( Leprosy can develop only in those people who have low immunity ) so vaccination of leprosy patient is very important.
